DELF B1 writing: relay a host's request to your travelling companions

Write a B1 French message relaying a host’s bicycle-storage request, preserving the limit and deadline and asking each travelling companion to respond.

In short

Name the host as the source, preserve the exact limit and deadline, and tell each companion what to confirm. Do not turn “up to three bicycles in the shelter” into unlimited storage or permission to leave them elsewhere. End by identifying who will send the group’s reply.

A host needs to arrange a limited bicycle shelter before a group arrives. Your task is to retain the request and collect replies from each companion. Keep the host’s capacity, deadline and courtyard restriction attached to the correct actions.

The source supplies a limit, a deadline, a prohibited location and a conditional follow-up.

(160 mots minimum)

Write 160–190 words to your companions, relaying the host’s request, storage limit and deadline. Ask each person to reply and identify who will contact the host, without adding permission not supplied by the source.

Alex

An internal deadline can be earlier

The host’s deadline is Wednesday at 18 h. Alex asks companions to answer by Tuesday evening so the group can respond in time. That is an added coordination request, not a change to the host’s deadline. The message labels the two actions clearly.

Keep each condition attached to its action

Tap one on the left, then its partner on the right.

A good relay can include your own practical organisation, provided you distinguish it from the source’s conditions. Keep that distinction visible so companions know which detail is a host requirement and which is the way you propose to collect their answers.
