A listener may recognise why a colleague worries about cost while still favouring a pilot. Another may agree with the aim but not the proposed timetable. These distinctions help a discussion stay courteous without manufacturing consensus.
Vrai ou faux ? Decide before you see the verdict.
FauxThe second clause explicitly rejects agreement with the conclusion, despite acknowledging understanding.
VraiThe wording acknowledges receipt or attention. It does not by itself approve the request.
VraiThe statement explicitly agrees to the bounded three-month trial.
VraiThe speaker accepts the aim while rejecting the timetable, so agreement is partial and specified.
FauxUnderstanding the reason for a proposal is different from authorising it.
VraiSous réserve de makes funding a stated condition of the acceptance.
Keep the object of agreement
She understands the budget concern but maintains her proposal for a limited trial.
The sentence reports both acknowledgment and position. Writing only elle est d’accord would erase the disagreement. When taking minutes, name what the person accepts: l’objectif, le principe, le calendrier, la dépense or l’essai. These objects may receive different answers in the same turn.
A brief d’accord can mean “all right, I follow” in some exchanges or actual agreement in others. The safest clarification is specific: Confirmez-vous votre accord sur la version jointe ? If a real decision depends on the reply, do not make the strongest interpretation from a minimal acknowledgment alone.
