A recruiter sends a proposal with a reference condition. The applicant asks which contacts are needed and whether the preferred start date is final. Complete the forms using the hints, then follow which steps remain open.
Read it in English
Madam, we are pleased to send you an offer for the reception role. This offer remains subject to checking the references we discussed at the interview.
Could you send us the contact details of the two people you named? Please confirm that they agree to be contacted about your work with them. We have not called them yet.
Hello, thank you for your offer. Before sending the details, I would like to clarify one point: do you expect two references from managers, or may a former colleague also respond?
The people whose contact details I know have agreed to professional contact. I will ask them to confirm their availability. Could you also indicate whether the proposed start date remains open to discussion?
Madam, a former colleague may be suitable if she knows the duties you performed. The date remains open to discussion. We will confirm the next step after the reference conversations. Please do not describe this stage as already finished.
A proposed date is not necessarily a settled date
The exchange explicitly keeps the start date open and the reference conversations unfinished. A careful note reads Proposition reçue; références à contacter; date à discuter. It does not say “all checks completed”. A different message could state different conditions, so use its exact wording.
Two routes to dont
In the second, dont complements the noun coordonnées by identifying whose details they are. Do not add leurs after dont: les personnes dont je connais les coordonnées already expresses that relationship.
Effectuées agrees with les missions because que is a preceding feminine plural direct object. Contactées agrees with les deux personnes in the passive infinitive être contactées. These are different structures, so identify the grammatical role rather than copying an ending from a nearby plural word.
