Choose an action verb plus a concrete object: accueillir des visiteurs, classer des dossiers, mettre à jour un tableau. Say what you actually did and, where useful, name its scope. Aider à organiser un atelier and organiser un atelier describe different levels of involvement.

A useful CV line lets the reader picture a task. The verbs below work for volunteer activities, placements and jobs, provided the example matches your real experience. Keep the setting and level of responsibility accurate. A short factual description gives more information than a broad claim to excellent organisational skills.
Accueillir et aider
Préparer le travail
Suivre les informations
Communiquer et organiser
Gérer needs a named area
Gérer les inscriptions à un atelier mensuel names a limited process. It does not imply running the whole organisation. If you entered names while someone else made the decisions, noter les inscriptions or saisir les données may describe your work more precisely. Select the verb that matches the task, then add the object that shows its scope.
J’ai aidé à organiser deux ateliers pour les nouveaux membres.
I helped organise two workshops for new members.
Keep the preposition with the action
Répondre à une question and participer à une réunion keep à. Aider une collègue à installer uses a person as the direct object of aider and à before the next action. Accueillir des visiteurs takes its visitors directly. Learn the full chunk so that the task stays easy to read when you change the subject or tense.

Draft one line about a real activity, then underline the verb and its object. Add a frequency, date or quantity only if you know it. If the description sounds broader than the work you did, narrow the verb or the object until the reader can understand your actual contribution.
