How do you ask for a product demonstration in French?
Merci pour la démonstration. Je vais mesurer mon bureau avant de décider.
Thank you for the demonstration. I’ll measure my desk before deciding.
Elle me convient. Je la prends.
It suits me. I’ll take it.
La refers to la lampe in the buying reply. A demonstration can end with either a purchase or time to think. For another detail, name it directly: Le câble mesure combien ? asks about the cable’s length; Quels accessoires sont inclus ? asks what comes with the product.
