DELF B1 writing: reflect on changing an evening routine

Write a B1 French account of changing an evening routine, with a clear before-and-after comparison, one difficulty and a modest personal conclusion.

In short

Describe the old routine, the change you tried and what you actually noticed. Add a difficulty so the account shows a real adjustment. Finish with a conclusion limited to your experience: Pour le moment, cette organisation me convient. Do not promise a result you have not observed.

This original practice task asks you to reflect on a small organisational change. You can invent a coherent narrator, but keep the observations specific. A change in one evening routine can make a useful B1 account without dramatic claims about a transformed life.

Make the adjustment part of the story

The model’s difficulty is not an unrelated complaint. Preparing too much creates a heavy, cluttered bag, so the narrator limits preparation to the next day. J’ai donc shows that link. The late evening then tests whether the routine can be adapted rather than applied identically every time.
