DELF B1 writing: tell an organiser why a proposed change excludes you

Write a reasoned French B1 message explaining how a later workshop excludes you, with a transport consequence, practical adjustment and complete model.

In short

Connect the change to its practical consequence for participation. State the relevant constraint, explain what you would miss and suggest a specific adjustment. Acknowledge the organiser’s competing need while asking which alternatives can actually be offered.

Cordialement,

Salim

Explain more than inconvenience

The model does not stop at ce nouvel horaire ne me convient pas. It gives the last bus, walking time and missed practical work. These details explain why the learner could not meaningfully attend. The point is the consequence of the scheduling change, not a judgement about the organiser’s intentions.

Make the alternative discussable

The two-group proposal is conditional on the trainer’s availability. The fallback asks for an earlier session every other week. Neither is presented as already approved. The message invites the organiser to say what can be arranged and offers help gathering the group’s needs.

Question 1No account needed
Which detail establishes the transport constraint?

Choose one answer.

Answer and explanation

The last bus leaves at 19 h.. The bus time, combined with the walk, limits attendance.

Question 2No account needed
Why does the model mention the practical exercises?

Choose one answer.

Answer and explanation

To explain the learning that would be lost.. The exercises connect the barrier to meaningful participation.

Question 3No account needed
How is the proposed split session presented?

Choose one answer.

Answer and explanation

As a possibility depending on trainer availability.. Selon les disponibilités du formateur preserves the practical condition.

For your own task response, choose a real constraint from the supplied situation rather than adding a dramatic unrelated obstacle. A precise consequence and realistic proposal give the recipient something useful to act on.
