French B1 reading: when a deadline applies only to some applicants

Read a French notice with separate deadlines for new and returning applicants, plus an explicit exception for returning applicants who change activities.

In short

Identify your group before selecting the date. In this notice, new applicants apply by 5 September; returning applicants renewing the same activity use 12 September. Returning applicants who change activities follow the new-application deadline. A later date is not automatically available to everyone.

An old participant can follow a new-application procedure

The notice distinguishes personal history from the current request. Nora is a returning person, but her request concerns a new activity. The explicit exception assigns that request to the first-application procedure. Applying only the general label déjà inscrite would miss the decisive condition.

Retain the exact wording

The change-of-activity section adds an hour: avant le 5 septembre à 18 h. Preserve that detail when answering a question about that group. Do not invent an identical hour for the other sections when the notice does not state one. The notice also treats dossier complet as a condition, so choosing the correct date does not remove the need for completeness.

For a short explanation, give the group, the relevant condition and the resulting deadline. This makes your reasoning visible and prevents a correct date from being attached to the wrong applicant.
