1 · Combine: add both adjectives in the right form
- Marc : grand + sympa → Il est . (masc. sing.)
- Léa : petit + drôle → Elle est . (fem. sing.)
- Paul et Hugo : sportif + timide → Ils sont . (masc. plural)
- Ana et Sofia : brun + bavard → Elles sont . (fem. plural)
- Ma mère : gentil + patient → Elle est . (fem. sing.)
- Mon frère : sérieux + calme → Il est . (masc. sing.)
- Mes sœurs : sérieux + curieux → Elles sont . (fem. plural)

How do you describe a person with two adjectives in French?
- Most adjectives add -e for the feminine and -s for the plural.
- Adjectives already ending in -e don't change in the feminine: drôle, sympa, calme, timide.
- -eux becomes -euse: sérieux → sérieuse; -if becomes -ive: sportif → sportive.
- Gentil doubles the l: gentille. Vieux becomes vieille.

To add a third adjective, use a comma: Elle est grande, brune et très drôle. To contrast, use mais: Il est timide mais très gentil. For physical description, French often uses avoir: Elle a les cheveux longs et les yeux verts.
