Marc goes into the garage. He is looking for the red toolbox. First he looks near the bicycle, against the left wall. It is not there. Next he sees the cardboard box at the top of the shelving unit, but the toolbox is not inside it. Finally he looks under the workbench: there it is! Marc takes the toolbox and leaves the garage. He leaves the bicycle, cardboard box and tyre in their places.
D’abord: first; dedans: inside; la voilà !: there it is!
Learn un établi (a workbench) and un interrupteur (a light switch); both are masculine. Le carton here means a cardboard box. A small case with a handle is une boîte à outils. In the clues, follow the complete phrase: à droite and à gauche identify different walls.
