Track a three-person restaurant order in French. Match dishes to people, count portions and correct a drink quantity with eight focused questions.

In short

Attach each order to a name: Pour Lina, une soupe ; pour Adam, une omelette. For a correction, name the item and quantity: Un seul jus de pomme, pour Adam, et de l’eau pour Inès et moi.

How do you correct a group order in French?

Pour les plats, c’est exact. Pour les boissons, il faut corriger la quantité.

The main dishes are correct. For the drinks, the quantity needs correcting.

The server has repeated one quantity incorrectly. In the questions below, use the customers’ choices as your reference. Names are useful when two people have similar dishes: la soupe avec du pain identifies one of the two soups.
