In short
Reflexive verbs always take être in the passé composé, with the pronoun before the auxiliary: je me suis levé·e, elle s'est habillée, nous nous sommes promenés. In the negative, ne… pas wraps pronoun and auxiliary: je ne me suis pas réveillé·e.

How do reflexive verbs work in the passé composé?
The past participle agrees with the subject in most cases (elle s'est levée), because the reflexive pronoun is the direct object. When the body part is named, it becomes the object and there's no agreement: elle s'est lavé les mains. That's an advanced detail; start with the simple pattern.
