DELF A2 reading practice: a summer job advert

Read a French reception job advert and answer eight questions about the work period, hours, application deadline and documents to send.

In short

The job runs from 1 June to 31 August, but the application must arrive before 10 May. Send a CV and a short message by email; a visit to the centre leaves that instruction unfinished.

The advert and Adam’s plan

The Centre des Lilas needs someone for reception from 1 June to 31 August. You will work Tuesday to Saturday, nine until one, welcoming visitors and answering the phone.

To apply, email a CV and a short message to [email protected] before 10 May. Visiting in person does not replace sending the application.

Adam: I am free all summer. I will visit the centre on 12 May with my CV to submit my application.

  7. Question 7No account needed

What needs changing in Adam’s plan?
