Read it in English
On Saturday morning, Nora and Yanis leave the village. Behind the last houses, they cross a small wood. Then they follow a long path through a pine forest. Everything is quiet. Nora likes walking in the woods, especially in the morning.
Near the path, they find a bench. It is wooden and still damp. Yanis points to a piece of wood on the ground. “Look, it looks like a little boat!” he says. They leave it near the path and continue their walk.
At midday, they return to the village and stop at the café. Nora puts her bag on a wooden chair. “Next time, let’s bring a picnic,” she suggests.
