How do you say how you feel in French?
| Pattern | Example |
|---|---|
| je suis + adj. | Je suis inquiet / inquiète. |
| je me sens + adj. | Je me sens fatigué(e). |
| j'ai + noun | J'ai peur. J'ai honte. |
| ça me rend + adj. | Ça me rend triste. |
Feminine forms change: inquiet → inquiète, jaloux → jalouse, fier → fière, heureux → heureuse. Je me sens is softer and more personal than je suis: je me sens un peu seul (I feel a bit lonely). And ça me rend triste means "it makes me sad".
