Read the three source extracts
A is the project team, B a neighbourhood association and C the survey team. Use these three extracts as your source dossier for the revision.
A — Une salle commune faciliterait l’organisation des activités. Nous proposons de la mettre à la disposition des associations du quartier, avec un calendrier partagé pour les réservations.
A — A shared room would make activities easier to organise. We propose making it available to neighbourhood associations, with a shared booking calendar.
B — Nous sommes favorables à cette proposition à condition que nos créneaux restent prévisibles d’une semaine à l’autre. Les changements de dernière minute compliqueraient le travail de nos bénévoles.
B — We support this proposal provided our time slots remain predictable from week to week. Last-minute changes would complicate our volunteers’ work.
C — Plusieurs associations peinent actuellement à trouver une salle. Notre enquête décrit leurs difficultés, mais ne se prononce pas sur la proposition de salle commune. Aucun essai de ce dispositif n’a encore été mené.
C — Several associations currently struggle to find a room. Our survey describes their difficulties but takes no position on the shared-room proposal. The arrangement has not yet been trialled.
How do you revise a French synthesis?
Les trois textes approuvent la création d’une salle commune. Ce dispositif résoudra les problèmes de réservation, puisque chaque association disposera de créneaux stables. L’enquête de C en prouve l’efficacité. Il faut donc généraliser cette solution.
All three texts approve the creation of a shared room. This arrangement will solve the booking problems, since every association will have stable slots. C’s survey proves its effectiveness. This solution should therefore be extended everywhere.

Replacing approuvent with plébiscitent would strengthen the same error. First write a compact source map: A proposes; B supports conditionally; C describes the problem. Then group the material around access, stable bookings and evaluation.

L’accès à une salle constitue une difficulté pour plusieurs associations du quartier. Face à ce problème décrit par l’enquête de C, A propose un espace commun dont les réservations seraient gérées à l’aide d’un calendrier partagé. Cette organisation faciliterait, selon A, la préparation des activités.
Access to a room is a difficulty for several neighbourhood associations. In response to this problem described by C’s survey, A proposes a shared space whose bookings would be managed through a shared calendar. According to A, this arrangement would make planning activities easier.
La prévisibilité des créneaux conditionne toutefois l’adhésion de B. Favorable au principe, cette association souligne les difficultés que des changements tardifs entraîneraient pour ses bénévoles. Son soutien reste donc lié à la stabilité des réservations.
Predictable time slots are, however, a condition of B’s support. In favour of the principle, this association stresses the difficulties late changes would cause its volunteers. Its support therefore remains tied to stable bookings.
L’efficacité du dispositif reste à évaluer : C ne prend pas position sur la proposition et précise qu’aucun essai n’a encore été mené. Le dossier articule ainsi un besoin d’accès, une réponse proposée et une condition de fonctionnement.
The arrangement’s effectiveness remains to be assessed: C takes no position on the proposal and states that no trial has yet taken place. The dossier thus brings together a need for access, a proposed response and an operating condition.
The revision follows three themes across the sources. Selon A keeps the expected benefit with its author. Conditionne preserves B’s condition. The ending gathers the dossier’s ideas without adding a recommendation. Read those phrases again after every substantial edit.
