Étudier conjugation: étudie, étudiions and future forms

Learn étudier across seven tenses and moods, including étudiions and étudiiez with two i’s. Check the accent, past participle and future forms.

In short

Étudier means “to study”: j’étudie, nous étudions, j’ai étudié. In the imparfait and present subjunctive, write two consecutive is with nous and vous: étudiions, étudiiez.

The stem is étudi-. Add -ons for nous étudions, but -ions for nous étudiions: the stem’s i stays beside the ending’s i. The same happens in étudiiez. Keep the initial accent throughout, including étudierai and étudierais.
