How do you describe a lost item in French?

Four useful objects to describe

In the model, il contient refers to the bag. For a feminine object, use elle and la where needed: Ma trousse est bleue. Comment puis-je la récupérer ? A first enquiry can stay short: the date, room, colour and one distinctive feature already give staff several clues.
