How do you conjugate dormir in the present?
The short singular stem dor- takes -s, -s, -t. Use the full stem dorm- for the plural and throughout the imperfect: je dormais, nous dormions. All present-subjunctive forms also keep the m: que je dorme, que nous dormions. The future and conditional keep the infinitive dormir- before their endings: je dormirai, je dormirais. The imperative returns to the short singular: dors, alongside dormons and dormez.
