Fix conflicting details in a French message: an A2 editing task

Repair a French travel message with conflicting days, times and ticket information. Compare a fact sheet, rewrite the draft and check the model.

In short

Compare the draft with the agreed facts, then repair every mention of the same plan. Check the greeting, body and closing together. J’ai acheté les billets and je te les donnerai demain fit together: buying and handing over are different actions.

Salut Adam !

Lina

Review your draft

Before you finish

A self-review aid, not an exam mark. Ticks are not saved.

Two actions, two times

J’ai déjà acheté les billets. Je te donnerai le tien samedi.

I’ve already bought the tickets. I’ll give you yours on Saturday.

Underline the verbs: ai acheté is the completed purchase; donnerai is the future handover. A change of tense can show a sensible sequence. The conflict in the draft concerns buying those same tickets again. After fixing it, check the closing too: an old À dimanche ! would leave Adam with two different days.
