Coucou is a friendly hello between friends and family. Rendre un service literally means "to give back a service" but simply means to help. A small souvenir or a bottle of something local is a classic thank-you in France.
- Tu peux faire un favour ?Tu peux me rendre un service ?
A favour = un service.
- Tu peux eau mes plantes ?Tu peux arroser mes plantes ?
Arroser = to water.
