This morning I’m going to Lyon with my friend Nora. It is ten past eight and I’m waiting for the bus outside the station. My suitcase is next to me. I hope to find a seat because the journey lasts an hour. Nora arrives and asks me, “Have you been waiting long?” I show her the clock.

We look at the traffic. The cars are moving slowly. I expect a delay. Nora hopes the bus will arrive in five minutes. We wait a little longer under the bus shelter.

At last the bus arrives. There are two seats left at the back. We hope to arrive in Lyon before midday to meet our friends. During the journey, Nora sends a message. Our friends are waiting for us near the station. They have already chosen a café for lunch.
