In short
Describe what you hear, ask for a quieter room and check the price: Est-ce qu’une chambre plus calme est disponible ? Le prix est-il le même ? Nora can accept a smaller room, but she wants to see it before confirming the move.

- Nora
Une chambre plus petite me convient. Le prix est-il le même ?

- Réception
Bien sûr. Je vais vous la montrer.

Of course. I will show it to you.

How do you ask for a quieter hotel room in French?
| French | What is established |
|---|---|
| Je peux vérifier. | Reception offers to check. |
| Elle est disponible au même tarif. | The room is available at the same rate. |
| Je vais vous la montrer. | Reception will show Nora the room. |
In vous la montrer, vous means “to you” and la replaces the room. Plus calme compares the alternative with the current room; au même tarif compares the prices. Nora’s final question keeps her decision until after the viewing.
