In short
Propose one trial session with a spending ceiling, named volunteers and a review. A free room covers one part of the project; tools, materials and the scope of repairs still need checking.
Yellow the idea to rememberRed watch out
The community centre wants to organise a repair workshop. A room could be lent free one Saturday a month. Volunteers still need contacting and an equipment list needs preparing. You propose starting with one session and a €60 ceiling for discussion.

Financer une première séance
Je proposerais (first: use the table) une seule séance d’essai. L’idée me plaît (because: two words) les habitants pourraient apprendre à prolonger la vie de certains objets.
Read it in English
I would first propose just one trial session. I like the idea because residents could learn to extend the life of some objects. A workshop would also allow simple techniques to be shared.
However, the free loan of the room does not cover all the needs. Tools, small supplies and skilled volunteers need planning. I would request a budget capped at €60 for this first session.
If the equipment cost more, we would need to review the list or look for loans before confirming the session. Volunteers would also specify which objects they can handle. Each participant would then know what to expect.
We would prepare the session, then review spending and the work done. I therefore support an initial trial under these conditions. To decide what follows, we would look at the needs expressed and the available resources.
A partner challenges your proposal
So you promise that every object will be repaired with those 60 euros?
Answer in two or three sentences. Explain what the proposed ceiling covers, ask the volunteers to define the repairs they can take on and keep the decision about another session for the review. For a second round, the partner says only one volunteer is available. Which part of your plan would you revise?
