In short
Concession recognises an obstacle while keeping the main decision: bien que takes a subjunctive, while malgré takes a noun. Contingency sets the limits of a plan: use au cas où with a conditional and à condition que with a subjunctive.

A heatwave forces the Théâtre des Tilleuls to rethink its evening. Although the fans are working, the main auditorium remains too hot. Despite the difficulties, the director wants to preserve the meeting with the audience. Nevertheless, she refuses to keep the programme under the same conditions.
The team proposes a courtyard performance at nine in the evening, provided the temperature drops sufficiently. It also prepares a cancellation message in case the heat persists. Even if the audience accepts the new time, the final inspection of the courtyard remains essential.
Tickets will remain valid for this performance unless the holder chooses a refund. Seats will be kept near the entrance so that people who find it difficult to move around can settle in easily. To inform every audience member, the team sends an email and phones people who have not provided an email address.
While adapting the performance, the artists keep a short discussion with the audience. If organisers receive no reply to their first message, they contact the people concerned again by phone.
