In short
Tell the removal company what needs moving and how to reach it: Un canapé et une armoire, au troisième étage sans ascenseur. Ask who will dismantle and protect the furniture, then confirm two windows: le créneau d’enlèvement and le créneau de livraison.

1 · List the furniture and ask for a quote
Déménager means to move home or move belongings. Enlever refers to collecting the items here.
2 · Explain access at both addresses
French floor numbering starts with le rez-de-chaussée, the ground floor; le troisième étage is three levels above it.
3 · Agree on dismantling and protection
Démonter means to dismantle; remonter means to reassemble. Ask who handles each part.
4 · Confirm collection and delivery windows
L’enlèvement is collection; la livraison is delivery. Ask about each address separately.
