Have the ticket ready. Give the printed date first, then the date you want.

The agent offers a new departure. Ask about the amount and time before deciding.

What do you say when your ticket has the wrong date?

From checking to completion

You hear	What is happening
Je vais vérifier.	The agent is about to check.
Je peux vous proposer…	The agent is offering an option.
Le changement est effectué.	The agent reports that the change is complete.

To ask for help with a detail, use Pourriez-vous vérifier la date, s’il vous plaît ? For a simple confirmation, use C’est bien le 13 mai ? The word bien highlights the detail you want confirmed. Once you receive the new ticket, read the date and time back to the agent.
