French reading evidence notes: keep the fact and its limit together

Build compact B1 reading notes from an email-only registration notice. Keep the source, number, time and uncertainty attached to each claim.

In short

A useful evidence note has three parts: the question, the supporting phrase and the limit that belongs with it. Keep uniquement, selon and pourraient beside the fact they qualify. Mark a missing detail as “not stated” so it stays separate from confirmed information.

1 · Write the question first

Use a label such as method, quantity, source or date. It tells you which detail to keep.

2 · Keep the restriction with the fact

Uniquement limits the method. “Email” loses part of the instruction; “email only” keeps it.

3 · Attach the source and status

Selon la responsable names the source. Pourraient leaves the addition possible. Keep the number and month too.

4 · Name the open question

Write “place: to be confirmed” rather than leaving a blank cell. Exact dates are still to be announced too.

Use the note to compare a proposed answer with the passage. If the answer says “three sessions have been added”, the number matches but the status changes. If it says “email or phone”, the registration method changes. Return to the notice whenever your shorthand leaves the decision unclear.
