A1 French partner role-play: book an exhibition visit

Practise an A1 French exhibition booking with a partner. Ask about times, check the end time and change your reply when one visit is full.

In short

Give each partner a different role card, then listen before choosing your reply. The visitor can come before noon; reception offers the visit times. On the second round, make one time unavailable so the visitor has a new choice to make.

Round two: reception changes the reply

La visite de onze heures est complète. Il reste une place à dix heures.

The eleven-o’clock visit is full. There is one place left at ten.

Use practice mode to hide the visitor’s lines. Reception now reads the changed reply above. The visitor chooses the available time, checks the end time and asks to book. Reception finishes by confirming the chosen slot. Then switch roles and try again.

Pardon, vous pouvez répéter, s’il vous plaît ?

Sorry, could you repeat that, please?

Use this as soon as you miss a time or duration.
