Dialogue

A1 French speaking review: check the time you agreed

Rehearse a short visit-booking dialogue, then compare the notes with what was agreed. Practise asking for a duration and repeating the final time.

In short

Check your notes against the final agreement: the time chosen, the duration and the place to wait. Then replay the turn that needs work and ask a listener whether the time is clear.

Your role: a Saturday morning visit

You want a visit on Saturday morning and are free until noon. Ask how long it lasts. In practice mode, hide your lines and say them from the English cues. Listen to the reply before choosing a time: the first slot you ask about is full.

Your lines are hidden in practice mode. Say them aloud, then reveal to compare.

Does this recap match the exchange?

Review a note against the accepted arrangement
Rehearsal noteWhat the exchange saysNext action
“Saturday at eleven.”Eleven is full; ten is accepted.Write the final choice, ten.
“The visit lasts thirty minutes.”Reception gives this duration.Keep it: the information was obtained.
“Wait at reception.”Reception answers the question directly.Keep it in the recap.

A useful review note is small and specific: “I kept the first time I asked for. Next time I will repeat the accepted time at the end.” The visit finishes at ten thirty, so it fits your noon limit. Ask a partner to change the available slot on the next rehearsal; keep the same questions.
