In short
Give your arrival time (nous arriverons vers 19 h), ask about keys (comment récupère-t-on les clés ?) and parking, and warn if you'll be late. Hosts often use une boîte à clés (key box) with a code.

Bonne route ! is what French people say to someone driving off. Un contretemps is a polite word for an unexpected delay. If something's wrong in the flat, write Petit souci : … (Small problem: …) rather than complaining directly: it gets faster help.
- On arrive à 19 h vers.Nous arriverons vers 19 h.
Vers comes before the time.
- Le code de la boîte ?Pourriez-vous me redonner le code de la boîte ?
A full polite question works better.
