In short
Use the question to predict the kind of answer: pourquoi asks for a reason, depuis quand for a starting point, and qu’est-ce qui a été difficile for a difficulty. Then follow the guest’s wording. Pas définitivement corrects the interviewer’s assumption about permanence.

A good interview note keeps the qualification: “starts before six sometimes”. Writing “starts before six every day” changes Nora’s account. The question about leaving the city also needs the answer beside it: she returns regularly.
