In short

Nullement means “not at all” or “in no way”: Cela ne change nullement notre décision. It gives a denial a firm, formal tone. In everyday conversation, pas du tout often expresses the same basic meaning.

An email reply

Madam, you say in your message that our team has rejected your proposal. That is not at all the case. We have not yet made a decision.

Your latest comment in no way changes our position: we want to compare the two solutions before choosing. Tuesday’s meeting did not put an end to the discussions at all. It helped clarify the questions that remain open.

We have received no estimate of the cost of the second solution. Could you send it to us before Friday? This request is not at all a criticism of your work. We simply need this information to continue the discussion.
