Explain a specialist process in French: from procedure to public guide

Compare a compact French procedure with a clear public explanation. Follow receipt, checking and decision through two versions, with glosses and questions.

In short

Begin with the reader’s question, explain the useful technical label and show what happens next. Keep receipt, checking and approval separate: Votre dossier a été transmis tells the reader one stage is complete.

A procedure and its public explanation

Read it in English

Procedure note: The acknowledgement confirms transmission of the file; it does not validate its contents. A separate check by the reception team comes before the registration decision. A separate message communicates that decision.

Public page: Have you just received an acknowledgement? This message confirms that your file has been transmitted. At this stage, your registration is awaiting a decision.

The reception team must first check the information submitted. The registration decision will be taken after this check. You will then receive another message informing you of the decision.

The two messages therefore have different roles: the first confirms transmission of your file; the second gives you the registration decision. To find out whether your registration has been accepted, refer to the decision message. An acknowledgement on its own confirms only transmission.

The public version keeps accusé de réception because that label helps the reader identify the first message. It explains the label at once, then repeats the roles of the two messages. The extra words give the reader a usable sequence: transmission, check, decision.
