How to say "I agree" in French (not je suis agree)

"I agree" is je suis d'accord, never je agree or j'agrée. Learn d'accord, être d'accord avec, and how to agree partly or disagree politely.

In short

Say Je suis d'accord (I agree). To agree with someone: Je suis d'accord avec toi / vous. To agree to something: Je suis d'accord pour partir à huit heures. D'accord alone means "OK".

D'accord on its own is the everyday "OK" (often shortened to d'acc in texts), so it can accept a plan without any opinion. To show you share someone's opinion, use the full je suis d'accord avec toi. In meetings, je partage votre avis (I share your view) sounds a little more formal.
